At least two players are needed (one child and one adult).
One player draws a card and reads it — or has the question read to them.

Then, they talk about it together — there are no right or wrong answers; the goal is to understand how children see the world, what’s on their minds, what they fear, what they hope for, and what makes them happy in everyday life.

It’s important that the adult also shares their own perspective during the conversation!

We recommend the game for age 5 and up, but some questions are designed for children aged 8+ — these are clearly marked. Of course, it’s up to parents to decide whether to ask these with younger kids as well.

There’s no set time for a round or an answer. Some questions can lead to deeper conversations, so the length of the game entirely depends on the players — it can last for hours if everyone starts opening up to each other.
If a question feels too difficult, feel free to skip it — you can always come back to the set-aside cards later.
